DISCORD IN FIRE BRIGADE
It appears that trouble has occurred at the Central Fire Brigade Station, and that as a result of a recent altercation between the Superintendent, Mr. Tait, and one of the brigndes::nen, the JTire Brigade Committee of th» City Council has held an inquiry, and has, pending further investigation, suspended the Superintendent from duty. The station is at present in charge of the De-puty-Superintendent, Mr. E. Robertson. The matter will bo further investigated at an early date.
