(Received 28th August, 10 a.m.) CAPETOWN, 27th August, The firemen of the Armadillo Castle, at Durban, definitely refused lo sail. The men .stale, that they have received Idlers IVom their wives and families stating that the reduction uf wages will cuuue much hardship. Two men of the Sandgate Castle have been sentenced
to be suspended for a fortnight, to enable them to reconsider the position and get the vessel away.
