The Rev. H. Van Staveren and Mrs. Van Staveren celebrate their golden wedding on Tuesday next, Ist September, the date of the weddin X beln" Ist September, 1875. • ° Mr. Van Staveren was warmly welcomed back to the Hospital Board meeting yesterday afternoon after three months' absence for health reasons. The chairman, Mr. C. M. Luke, conveyed the best wishes of the board to Mr. Van Staveren on the occasion of the fiftieth •anniversary of his wedding. Mr. Van Staveren cordially returned thanks for the kind wishes of the board.
