As a rule, the life of a canary is usually . about eight to ten years. 'Yesterday, however, a canary died in. a house at Kilbirnie at the advanced ai;e of twenty years. Up to the time of its death, the bivd, except for failing sight-, was in lull pessestioa of all its faculties.
