. PALMEBSTON N., 26th Augtuit. The Wellington fjrimary jschools representatives won their fiTst match in the Cliffe Shield game with Maoiawatu today, which ended in Wellington winning by 3 goals to 2. Play was fast and open, Brown, Wellington's right wing, showing possibilities. The ladies' Manawatu and Bnahine (Dannevirke) E teams, drew with 1 goal each.
