CHRISTCHURCH 26th August. The New Zealand Amateur boxing championships were continued this evening before a very poor attendance. Following are the results:— Flyweight.—o. Wood (Wellington), 7st 101b, beat J. A. Leckie (Otago), 7at 101b. The referee stopped the bout in the first round. Leckie was beaten at the end of a minute, but Wood could not send him to the floor.

Feather-weight.—T. Griffith . (Otago), Bst 91b, beat T, Donovan (Napier). Bst 101b. M. Carwll (Manawatu), Bst 131b, beat L. Black (Chriatchurch), Bst 101b. Bantam-weight—L. Taylor (Auckland), Bst lib, beat C Brosnahan (Ashbujtai), Bst 21b. W. Weston (Timaru), Bst 21b, beat S. Nesbit (Wellington^ Bst lib, A very poor exhibition of the fistic art, mild swings characterising the work of each. In the' last round Nesbit was groggy, but managed to weather the Btorm.
