NEW PLYMOUTH, This' Day. Taranaki Oilfields report:—ln the Tarata bore 30C0ft of B^in casing nas been put in. Drilling is about to be resumed. The Moturua bore has been drilled to 1771 ft. A show of oil was found in sandy shale at 1625 ft. From 1640 to 16E0ft there .was a show of oil and gas in tho sand. From. 1690 to 1694 ft gas sand was met. To 1771 ft there was sandy shale, with a show of gas from 1740 to 1750 ft. .
