LOCAL MANAGEMENT,

The Wellington Cricket Association's Management Committee. met last evening, Mr. C. G. Wilson presiding. Others present were : Messrs. P. B. Broad, D. M'Kenzie, B. L. Salmon, W. R. Bock, H. M. M'Girr, A. Ronaldson, J. Hutchings, and R. Darroch (secretary). Information from the Auckland Association that it was sending on tour a team of boys under sixteen yeara of age, and that a match was desired in Wellington, was referred to the Wellington Boys' League. Use of the Basin Reserve on Boxing Day was granted the Wellington Caledonian Society. The secretary was also, instructed to advise the society that this permission was not to be taken as a precedent for future years. A subscription of £5 5s was made to the Massey Memorial Fund.

It was decided that the annual meeting of delegates to the association be held on the 21st September.
