(Received 18th August, 2 p.m.) CHICAGO, 17th August. Mr. D. 8., MacMillan has announced through the Zenith Radio Corporation Hi at he will broadcast an Eskimo "jazz night" on Wednesday, on 40 metres. Greenland's oldest "glee club" will sing choruses which civilised people would call wailing, accompanied by "kiloutes," which are drumlikc instruments beaten with -walrus' bones. The previous programme was so clear that it was rebroadciisted on 322 metres. . .
. Mr. MaoMilkn stated: "Tho Eskimos take their music very seriously. We cannot laugh during tho performance, or they would bo offended ; but when it is ended, the heartier our laughter the better pleased they seem. Our merriment is taken for -applause."- -
