GHEMIST COMMITTED FOR TRIAL.

AUCKLAND, This Day. Frank Leslie Anderson, a. chemist (37), was committed for trial on a charge of having forged tho names of A. Oiilon and W. Smith in the retailer's opium book kept by him with the intent that they be acted on as genuine. Accused was at tho time manager of the Friendly Societies' dispensary at Devonport; He was arrested at Wellington on 6th August, just before the Maungaiiui sailed for Sydney.
