HOLIDAY Excursion Tickets, available for return until 26th August, will be issued on 20th and 22nd August, as follows:— To Wellington (Thorndon) or Larabton from New Plymouth, Ohakune, Eskdale, Pukerua Bay, Mangaroa, and intermediate stations, including those on branches. To Trentham —From Masterton, Greytown, Cross Creek, and intermediate stations by trains leaving Masterton 7.33 a.m, Greytown 8.0 a.m. On Thursday and Saturday,. 20th and 22nd August, Special Return Tickets to Trentham, and available for day of issue only, will be obtainable at Wellington (Lambton), Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Petone, and.Lower Hutt. Fares: Carriages 6s 6d; Seated Wagons, 4s 6d (those fares include admission fee to Racecourse). Free Passes, ordinary, season, tourist, and privilege tickets (Press reporters' tickets excepted) will NOT be available by Race Trains. Special Race Trains take passengers for and from Trentham only, and only Raoe Tickets will be available by these trains. Exceptions Race Trains leaving Lower Hutt 4.31 p.m. (Thursday and Saturday), 5.8 p.m. (Thursday), 5.15 p.m. (Saturday). Platform at Lambton Station will be cleared immediately after departure of each Race Train. Passengers obtaining admission to platform must travel by first train after they enter station. A carriage for ',' Ladies only " will be iet aside on each race train. , TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. SPECIAL RACE TRAINS for Trentham leave Wellington— On,THURSDAY, 20th August, at frequent intervals from 9.53 a.m. until 10.17 a.m;, and at 11.26 a.m., with additional ordinary train at 12.15 p.m. On SATURDAY, 22nd Augußt, at frequent intervals from 9.33 a.m., until 10.25 a.m., and at 11.26 a.m., with additional ordinary trains at 11.50 a.m., 12.15 and 1.20 p.m. Special Race Trains will NOT stop Kaiw^rra or Ngahauranga, or between Lower iHutt and Trentham. For times from suburban stations see handbill. RETURN RACE TRAINS leaving Trentham at intervals —On Thursday from 4.6 p.m. until 4.43 p.m., and on Saturday from; 4.6 p.m.^ until 4.50 p.m. Additional ordinary trains, stopping ■where required leave Trentham 5.0 and 5.31 p.m. on Thursday and 5.4 and 5.31 p.m. on Saturday. Race Train leaving Trentham 4.6 p.m., 4.43 p.m. on Thursday and 4.6. p.m. and 4.50 p.m. Saturday stops Lower Hutt, Petone, Ngahauranga, ana Kaiwarra to pick up or Bet down passengers. Wellington-Upper Hutt, 9.40 a.m. Wellington-Lower Jiutt. 10.48 a.m. Upper Hutt-Wellington, 4.30 p.m. Lower Hutt-Wellington, 5.10 p.m. Lower Hutt-Wellington. • Race Trains leaving Lower Hutt at 4.31 p.m., 5.8 p.m. (Thursday), 4.31 p.m., 5.15 p.m. (Saturday) stops at intermediate stations to Wellington for passengers. Steam Rail Coach, 9.15 a.m. Welling-ton-Melling will be delayed and leave Wellington 9.25 a.m., running correspondingly late to Lower Hutt, will not run between Lower Hutt and Melling. Usual 9.57 a.m. Melling-Wellington and usual 4.25 p.m. Wellington-Melling will NOT run between Melling and Lower Hutt. ' Usual 4.55 p.m. Melling-Wellington will not run between Melling and Lower Hutt, and leaves Lower Hutt 5.20 p.m. on Thursday, 5.33 p.m. on Saturday, running correspondingly late to Wellington. On THURSDAY and SATURDAY— Usual 8:30 Wellington-Woodville . Train leaves Wellington 8.45 a.m., Kaiwarra 8.51, Ngahauranga 8.57, Petone 9.7, Lower Hutt 9.14,- Trentham 9.48, -Upper Hutt arr. 9.56, dep. 10.13 a.m., thence on ordinary times. Usual 10.13 a.m.. Wellington-Upper Hutt Train leaves Wellington 9.15 a.m., Kaiwarra 9.20, Ngahauranga 9.25, Petone 9.33, Lower Hutt 9.40, Trentham 10.13, Upper Hutt arr. 10.20 a.m. Usual 10.37 a.m. Train from Upper Hutt leaves. Upper Hutt 10.45 a.m. for Wellington and stops where required for passengers. Usual 3.10 p.m. Wellington-Lower Hutt Train will run through to Upper Hutt, leaving Lower Hutt 3.33 p.m., Haywards 3.51, Silverstream 3,57, Upper Hutt arr. 4.10 p.m. This Train stops where required for passengers. Usual 3.53 p.m. Wellington-Upper Hutt Train will NOT run between Lower. Hutt and Upper Hutt. Special Train for Masterton, stopping as required, leaves Trentham 4.35 p.m., Upper Hutt 4.50, Featherston 6.50, Carterton 7.28, Masterton arrive 7.53 p.m. Usual 4.16 p.m. Wellington-Masterton Train leaves Wellington 4.40 p.m., Lower Hutt 5.9, Trentham 5.45, Upper Hutt 6.4, Featherston 7.58, Carterton 8.34, Master-, ton arr. 8.59 p.m. This train stops as required. On THURSDAY usual 4.40 p.m. Upper Hutt-Wellington Train leaves Upper Hutt 4.51 p.m., running correspondingly late to Wellington. On SATURDAY usual 11.40 a.m. Wel-lington-Upper Hutt Train will be duplicated. First portion runs to Lower Hutt only, and stops all stations. Second portion (dep. 11.50 a.m.) will be. non-stop train to Lower Hutt, and runs through to Upper Hutt. This train will make usual stops between Lower Hutt and Upper Hutt. Special Train for Wellington, stopping where required, leaves Upper Hutt 4.55 p.m., Trentham 5.4, Silverstream 5.10, Haywards 5-16, Lower Hutt 5.38, Petone 5.42, Wellington arr. 6.0 p.m. Usual 5 ; 10 p.m. Upper Hutt-Welling-ton Train leaves Upper Hutt 5.25 p.m., Trentham 5.31, Silvorstream 5.39, Lower Hutt 6.4, Petone 6.8.
