HOLIDAY Excursion Tickets, available for return until 26th August, will be issued on 20th and 22nd August, as follows:— To Wellington (Thorndon) or Larabton from New Plymouth, Ohakune, Eskdale, Pukerua Bay, Mangaroa, and intermediate stations, including those on branches. To Trentham —From Masterton, Greytown, Cross Creek, and intermediate stations by trains leaving Masterton 7.33 a.m, Greytown 8.0 a.m. On Thursday and Saturday,. 20th and 22nd August, Special Return Tickets to Trentham, and available for day of issue only, will be obtainable at Wellington (Lambton), Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Petone, and.Lower Hutt. Fares: Carriages 6s 6d; Seated Wagons, 4s 6d (those fares include admission fee to Racecourse). Free Passes, ordinary, season, tourist, and privilege tickets (Press reporters' tickets excepted) will NOT be available by Race Trains. Special Race Trains take passengers for and from Trentham only, and only Raoe Tickets will be available by these trains. Exceptions Race Trains leaving Lower Hutt 4.31 p.m. (Thursday and Saturday), 5.8 p.m. (Thursday), 5.15 p.m. (Saturday). Platform at Lambton Station will be cleared immediately after departure of each Race Train. Passengers obtaining admission to platform must travel by first train after they enter station. A carriage for ',' Ladies only " will be iet aside on each race train. , TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. SPECIAL RACE TRAINS for Trentham leave Wellington— On,THURSDAY, 20th August, at frequent intervals from 9.53 a.m. until 10.17 a.m;, and at 11.26 a.m., with additional ordinary train at 12.15 p.m. On SATURDAY, 22nd Augußt, at frequent intervals from 9.33 a.m., until 10.25 a.m., and at 11.26 a.m., with additional ordinary trains at 11.50 a.m., 12.15 and 1.20 p.m. Special Race Trains will NOT stop Kaiw^rra or Ngahauranga, or between Lower iHutt and Trentham. For times from suburban stations see handbill. RETURN RACE TRAINS leaving Trentham at intervals —On Thursday from 4.6 p.m. until 4.43 p.m., and on Saturday from; 4.6 p.m.^ until 4.50 p.m. Additional ordinary trains, stopping ■where required leave Trentham 5.0 and 5.31 p.m. on Thursday and 5.4 and 5.31 p.m. on Saturday.
