SEAPLANE RECOVERED
AMERICAN MACHINE RAISED.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPIIUOHT.)
(Received 10th August, 11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day,
The seaplane from the United States battleship Pennsylvania, which crashed in the water on 3rd July, was located and raised by some local yachtsmen. It was in fairly good condition, except the
wings. The question of the legal ownership of the machine has yet to be decided, but it is thought that it is still the property of the Pennsylvania.
