• In the billiards match M'Conachy defeated Tothill, who received four thousand. The final scores were : M'Conachy 18,000, Tothill 17,661. The Say's best breaks were : M'Connchy, 198, 191, 187, 177, 106, 87, 82, 77, 50; Tothill, 119, 108, 101. 81. 72, 63, 53. (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) SYDNEY, 9th August. There was an exciting finish to the match of 16,000 up between Walter Lindrum and Claude Falkiner. The. former ran out when Falkiner was 15,909. Play generally was level till tho last sessions.
