CRUSH AT SYDNEY OFFICE

SYDNEY, 7th August.

Fifteen hundred seamen reported at the shipping master's office to resume duty, and manned all the vessels available. There was such a crush at the office that the Moeraki, which was a man short, was unable to replace him, and after leaving the wharf to time had to anchor in the stream. Later a man was secured, and the Moeraki cleared at 4.45 p.m. MELBOURNE, 7th August.
