AMERICA'S SELECTION.

NEW YORK, 6th August. Advices from Forest Hills state that the tentative selection of four players for America's Davis Cup tennis-team has been announced by the chairman of the committee as follows.—W. T. Tildon, Vincent Richards, W. M. Johnston, and R. N. Williams. The first three were members of last year's team.
