Those, particularly our extreme Socialists, whose pet theories and beliefs fail on practical application are fond of falling back on the excuse of a native physician who was called in to cure one who was tick. He had, he claimed, a mediqine that would positively restor* the sick man to blooming health again. The patient, hov/erer, became even worse as a result of ths treatment.'
"Medioine no good 1" cried the friend* of the tick man, angrily. "Medicine good, patient no good," said the physician complacently.
