WELLINGTON CLUB

The annual meeting of the Wellington Bowling Club was held last evening, when; there was a large number of members present. Mr. T; Bush.presided. After considerable discussion in committee, the report.-and balance-sheet, particulars of which have been published, were adopted. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted.: President, Mr; H. G. Mayer; vice-president, Mr. W, Glendinning ; hon. secretary, Mr. H. Jackman; hon. treasurer, Mr. I. Potter moved ■ that the club participate in the pennants in the coming season irrespective of the number of rinks, arid that the Wellington Bowling Centre be asked to allow the Wellington Bowling Club to play eight rinks if possible. Bush, who, presided at the outset, regretted that copies of the new-articles had not been sent but to members. !
