Mr.:. Baldwin, Prime Minister, replied that the Government .was engaged;, in furthering,: to the best of its ability, in-ter-Imperial co-operation and the development of. the Empire's resources on the ■ lines-agreed upon at the Imperial Eco--' nomic Conferenco in 1923. He doubted whether at this stage. the sununoning of another Imperial Conference would ma-, terially advance, the objects which they were all. equally 'concerned' to;: promote.'
