MASTER PAINTERS' GATHERING
The annual smoke social of the Wellington Master Painters' and Decorators' Association was held at Dustin's Rooms last evening, about seventy members ana guests being present. The president, Mr. T. A. Wells, was in the chaJr. The toasts included "The Wellington Master Painters' Association " proposed by Mr. F. Wallace and responded to by Messrs. T!.. Tin"cv and W !Nieol : and '-The Wholesale Merchants,'' proposed by Mr. George Gapes, and responded to by Mr. Sullivan. An excellent programme was provided by Messrs. C. Hickraott, L. Hanlou, K. fli^bv " s! Nelson, V, OBvrin, Brockstlsh.ii.~o' 'n! Aitien, zad W. Goudio.
