NOVEL LIFEBELT.
Another new lifebelt is reported. To the ordinary inflated type of circular life preserver, it is said, rubber trousers, slippers, and paddles for the legs, and a pair of oars have been added to relieve discomfort, and give the wearer a better opportunity to reach safety. It is claimed that the outfit is so large, and the trousers so adjusted, that a sitting posture can bo assumed. «
