No recent visitor in New' York has attracted as much attention as Miohael Arlen. Among the celebrities he met was Miss Edna Ferber, tho novelist. Because he was wearing a carnation, Miss l'erber—who likes to "take down" visiting celebrities—remarked to him: "You look almost like a woman." "So do you," came back the author of These Charming People."
