NEW WEMBLEY THRILLS

FUN FOR THE KIDDIES,

. Trip to the Moon.—Passengers. enter a" captive airship -which takes them to the moon, where.they, meet the Goddess ,of,th.o,Moon. „.....,

New Tanagra Theatre.—The actors, although of normal- stature,- appear as pigmies through an" ingenious arrangement of. mirrors.

Over th e Falls.—This popular thrill has been greatly increased in size. A real waterfall has been built iato the device.

The Grand Band Stand on the fringe of the Amusements Park is a children's paradise called "Treasure Island." There is a miniature railway and the attendants are such wolUkndwn people as Long JohaTSilver,:; Peter' Pan, and Wendy. Noah is in charge of an imposing Ark. Treasure Island can accommodate 4000 children at once.

The lighting schemeofthe new Wembley has been greatly improved. High standards with, clusters of multi-coloured lights line the'central avenue, .columns of coloured steam".-rise.; from the .parapets of the great buildings,, -luminous animals and creep "along the borders of the lake, and' a battery of searchlights flash like the Aurora Borealis from the roof of the Stadium.
