LONDON FRUIT MARKET
BECENT PRICES,

NELSON, 19th. June.
Mr. Dennis Neal, of Nelson, advises that the following prices have been realised for apples on the London market : Ex Maimoa and TuTakina. Arrived in good condition and met with brisk demand at about following prices:— Stunners, 19s to 21s; Cleopatras, 20s to 235; Jonathans 17s to 19s; Statesman and Rome Beauty, 18s to 19s; Delicious 16s to 18s; Dunn's, 18s to 20s; other varieties 16s to 18s.
Ex s.s. Kent. The small quantities which at moment of cabling had appeared on the market, appear to have been in good condition, and realised following prices :—
Stunners, 19s to 21s; Statesman, Rokewods, etc., 21s; Jonathans, 19s. The figures for the Kent appear to relate to only a small portion of this ship's consignment, the major portion of which had not reached the market when the cable was despatched. The returns for the apples ex the Port Sydney are as follow :—Jonathans, 15s t 0 18s; Delicious, 13s 6d to 17s; Cleopatras, 18s to 225; Premiers, 17s to 18s • Statesman, 18s to 19s'; Wolseley, 16s to 17s j Dunn's, 13s 6d to 18s; Rona. 15s to 16s ; London Pippin, 13s 6d to 17s 6d; Starks, 15s to 17s; Adams, 15s 6d to 17s; Stunners, 15s t 0 20s. -Hie Stunners ex the Matakana were realising 19s to 20s per case.
