COURT CASES
Mr. W. G. Biddell, S.M., presided at the Magistrate's Court yesterday. Two first offenders for drunkenness were each fined 10s.
For drunkenness, James M'Givern was convicted and discharged, and for resisting Constable King he was fined £3, in default fourteen days' imprisonment.
On his fourth appearance for drunkenness, John Shannon was fined £1, and a prohibition order was issued against him for one year. For drunkenness, Daniel O'Sullivan was convicted and discharged. For a breach of his prohibition order, and for failing to comply with the terms of his probation, lie was fined £4.
