KAITOKE FROM NEWCASTLE.

Laden -with a full cargo of coal for the Railway Department the Union Company's freighter, Kaitoke, arrived in the stream at 6.50 this morning from Newcastle. The vessel was granted pratique, and berthed at 9.25 a.m., at the Railway Wharf, No. 2, to commence discharge. The Kaitoke left Newcastle at 6.10 a.m. on Wednesday last, and experienced moderate to fresh weather on the run across the Tasman.

Captain W. Hendcr is in command of the ship, and he has with him the following ofilcerß:—First, Mr. G. Atwood second, Mr. T. Davis; third, Mr. A. Simpson; chief engineer, Mr. A. Saddler; second, Sir. Thompson; third, Mr. Mandersou; fourth, Mr. L. Shuker.
