PARAMOUNT THEATRE.
The love interest which is the dominating appeal in " The Kingdom Within," the leading attraction at the Paramount Theatr* to-day, is unique in that it does not start early in the picture, but is developed, gradually to a powerful climax. Emily l Jreston, the girl in the story, despises Amos Deming. The manner in which he wins her love makes a powerful drama, with a wonderful heart interest. The supporting programme includes _ comedy, scenic, gazette, and an exceptional musical programme by the Paramount Orchestra. The box plan is at the Utility, next to theatre. "Name the Man !" Sir Hall Caine's latest drama to bo transferred to the screen, is to be presented next Friday. The story, adapted from "The Master of Man," is replete with 'dramatic action. It carries ono through the hearts of its people. It deals with both the lowly and the great—and the intermingling of the. two. And though the observer is totally unconscious of the photography, it -is surpassingly beautiful. 'Mac Buscli triumphs again in this, her second Hall Came story—she having .. played Glory Quayle in "The Christian." Conrad Nagel as the Deemster's son emerges with many laurels also. Patsy Ruth Miler has a sympathetic role and handles it in a manner to add new praise to her name. The box plan is now open at the Utility, next to theatre.
