At Emerson street, Newtown defeated Hutt by 11 points to 8. Tries for the winners were scored by Green, Carroll, and S. Fvaser, Green converting the try of the last-mentioned player. For Hutt, Balks converted a try scored by Haley, and Riddcll al^o crossed Newtow a's line.
'South defeated Pctonc by 2 points to nil.
