A professional boxing contest between Jack Hceney (list 81b) and Max Gornik (list 121b) ended in the eleventh round in a ■win for Gornik on a knock-out. The- contest was by no means one-sided. Heenoy, though lacking some of Jits former dash, and being down for nine in the second round, made a creditable showing. Up to the- end of the tenth round he was slightly in tho lead on points, but lie Ihon took tho count to a short right-hook on the temple. Gornik has accepted a return match with tho heavyweight champion, Eddie Parker, for 13lh Juno.
