He was admitted to the Hospital at 8.30 o'clock, suffering from injuries to his leg, and to-day was reported to bo progressing favourably. He lives at 20, Jackson-street, Island Bay. Tlijse in the vicinity at the time of. tho occurrence seemed to think that the ambulanco was slow in answering the summons, and when it finally did arrive, it was greeted with cheers.
