SENIOR B GAMES
V.M.C.A. (C) v. V.M.C.A : (B)
The B and C teams of the V.M.C.A. Club' met at Anderson Park on a soft field, but, in spite of the heavy going opened with a great show of speed. The wing men on both sides were prominent and the ball was sent about the field in great style. From a C attack, Stack centred and H. Price headed through. Just on half-time Price again sent through, giving the C team a lead of two points. The B's opened their score early in the second spell, following a series of hot attacks, Bartlett being the scorer. The pace speeded up again, the B's attacking vigorously and testing Ewing severely. Towards the end oi' the game tho C's took up the attack again, and Stack scored with a left-foot drive. C team 3, B team 1. Mr. E. Ormrod refereed. ,
