"WILDFLOWER."
. Wildflower," the musical comedy being presented nightly at the Grand Upera House by an excellent company organised by the J. C. Williamson management, is one of the brightest and most enjoyable productions of its kind that has been seen in Wellington for some_ time. The freshness which characterises the show from start to finish is largely duo to the fact that the dresses and stage "props." are new and attractive, but this alone would not account for the all-round excellence of the piece; m addition the music is tuneful, "catchy, and excellently interpreted both by vocalists and the unusually full orchestra; there is a moderate leavening of comedy, which is not over-strain-ed; and the dancing is attractive, and in the performance of the- Cansino Brothers and Miss Stoneburn something -to marvel at. In general "WildfloWer" is right up to the top standard of J C W performances. The principals are Miss Marie Burke, a lady of vivacious personality, Mr. Gus Bluett, and Mr. Herbert Browne, who plays opposite to Miss Burke.
