LONDON 22nd May. Nearly a thousand people attended the presentation at the second Court. The Duke and Duchess of York and Princess Mary and Viscount Lascelles were present. The Marchioness of Camden presented Miss Wilshiro, of Melbourne; Mrs. Andrew Cunningham presented Miss Bostock, of Geelong; and Lady Connolly presonted her daughter Marjory. Lady Allen presented Misses Nairn and Ormond, both 'of Hawkes Bay; Mrs. Ernest Davis, of Auckland; and Mrs. C. Home, of Nelson. Mrs. Pharazyn presented her daughter.Buth.
The Right Hon. T. R. Ferens, of Hull, who recently gave £250,000 towards tho fistabliahmont of a University College at Hull, has now provided about £40,000 towards the cost of tho new assembly hall.
