SEQUEL TO FIRE
TWO BEIGADESMEN ARRESTED,
A recent fire in Vivian street has had a rather unexpected sequel in the arrest of two fire brigadesmen for theft. On 21st April a fire broke out in • the premises of Edward George Mac Donald, an upholsterer, at .186, Vivian street. After the outbreak the disappearance of a quantity of moquettc. satin, and ticking, valued at approximately £W, could not be accounted for, and the matter was placed in the hands of the police. Inquiries were made by Detectives Jarrold and M'Lennan, anil to-day Bernard Dynan, 32 years of n"c, and Alec Milne. 24j members'of t!ie°Central Fire Brigade, were arrested in-connection-with ijiE offence.
