HANNAN DELAYED
THE SCULLING CHAMPIONSHIP.

HAMILTON, This Day. ' , J. P. Hannan, the Australian sculling champion, states he will leave for Syd-! ney next Friday to prepare for the race for the world's championship with Good-, sell. He should have sailed this week, but was delayed by the fact that the; full money required had not been found. Hamilton and Tauranga supporters had done their part, and he hoped to secure the balance required, £150, from Southern supporters. The first deposit of £100 was cabled to Sydney to-day.
