SUNDAY CONCERT.
The concert to be given by tho Tramways Band at the De Luxe Theatre tomorrow night promises to be one of the most successful held by the band. By kind permission of Messrs. J. C. Williamson, Ltd., two of their artists will appear with tho hand at "this concert. These are Mr. Lance Fairfax and Miss M'Manus, both artists of repute who need no introduction to the public of Wellington. Mr. Fairfax has a very pleasing baritone voice, and Miss M'Manus is a soprano who sings ballads with that feeling and expression so necessary in this class of music. In addition to tho above, there will also appear Mr. Arthur Clark, a lyric tenor. This gentleman, who'only arrived from London a few days ago, is late of the Birmingham Repertory Co. and the Glastonbury Festival Players. This is his first appearance in New Zealand, but it will not bo long before he has made a reputation here as he has in the Old Country. The band will give several bright numbers. The management as, sure patrons that no expense has been spared to make this concert a success.
