WOMEN AND HOUSE OF LORDS
(Received 22nd May, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, 21st May. The House of Lords rejected the second reading of a Bill to enable peeresses in their own right to sit and vote in the House of Lords. The Bill was left to the free vote of members.
