SPILT TEA
DAMAGES FOR A DAMAGED COSTUME,
(BI TELEGRAPH.—PRJSS ASSOCIATION.)
AUCKLAND, This Day. Mrs. A. Cooper sued W. Sinclair, junior, in the Police Court, claiming £18 13s damages to her costume through a waitress spilling tea on ifc at the Tak'apuna races. Judgment was given for £4 14s. Security for appeal was refused, Mr. Hunt, S.M., remarking that he would not have the Supreme Court bothered with such trivial matters.
