PUBLIC SPEAKING CLASS
The weekly meeting of the Public Speaking Class (under the auspices of the W.E.A.) was held in the Council.. Chamber, Lower Hutt, on Tuesday evening. Over thirty members were present. The large attendance augurs well for the success of the enterprise, and' I Mr. W. E. Dickinson, M.A. (the promoter and tutor of the class), is more than pleased with the results so far attained. ■ Tuesday evening's meeting, which included a very able and instructive address by Mr. Dickinson, and also short addresses by various members of the class, ■ was a very enjoyable one, and was conducted under the consecutive chairmanship of Messrs. Dallanger and Cox. ' '
