He travelled in all parts of America, sometimes by himself and sometimes accompanied by visitors and delegates from other lands. Mr,. Poolo, who is a fluent and forcible speaker, kept the attention of the audience for an hour and a-half, interspersing liis remarks with, many humorous anecdotes. Referring to tho results of what is commonly known as the 18th amendment, the speaker expressed the opinion that America would never repeal the Prohibition law. Mr. Poole drew attention to the great wealth and prosperity of the country, and showed how self-contained in most respects it is The Rev. W. M. Holland, pastor of the Cambridge Terrace Congregational Church, presided at the meeting. At the conclusion of his address, a hearty vote of thanks was accorded to Mr. Poole.
