Babbit skins: 1000 bales were offered, and about 800 were sold. The market was rather Irregular. Better and medium grades were unchanged; low descriptions declined 5 per cent.; racks and smalls 6 to 10 per cent • milky advanced 5 to 10 per cent At the hides sales Australia elicited no bias. Nominal quotations are: Salted in (vi 401b, 7id; 40 to 501b, 7Jd; 501b and upward^ 7-sd; dry-salted, 20 to 301b, Sid; 30 to «lb 9ad«
