THEATRE DE LUXE.
George Fitzmaurice has produced in "A Thief in Paradise," to be shown at the Do Luxe Theatre, this evening, a thrilling, colourful romance. It is a story of a man who masquerades as another man, falls in love with one girl, and is loved by another—an unscrupulous Eurasian girl, who is his accomplice in the impersonation. One of the unique features of the picture is a polo game played by girls clad in bathing suits. The game marks the beginning of a thrilling chase and an exciting climax.. In this picture divers fight the perilous China seas for pearls, and a thousand wonders are seen in one speeding hour, a thousand creations to delight the eye. The supporting programme will include a hilarious comedy, latest Gazette, not forgetting a musical programme of great beauty by the Orchestra De Luxe. A matinee will be held to-morrow. Bos plans are at The Bristol, Aitken's Book Arcade, or ring the theatre.
