Advice lias been received by the Dairy Division of the Agricultural Department that in Australia there was graded during April 222,482 boxes of. butter, and 7C03 crates of ■:liecse, and that the shipments from Australia to the United Kingdom during April were 205,111 boxes of butter and 13 Csl crates of cheese. The Department is also in receipt of advice from the Dairy Association stating: Shipments during-,-the month of April were 2050 tons of butter, 3 tons of cheese, and 2300 tons casein." . DAIRY PRODUCE. Messrs. Daigety.and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house, under date of 19th May :— ■"Cheese: Since our last report prices are Is per cwt lower. Quotations now are: New Zealand white and coloured, 035." The Sew' Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., lias received the following advice from London, dated 20th May— "New Zealand Dairy Produce:—Uutter: New Zealand choicest salted, IOSs per cwt; New Zealand choicest nnsaited, 17Gs to 17Ss per. cwt. Market Mow. Cheese: 02s to 94s per cwt. Market du11.." Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Co., Ltd., have received the following table from their London house, dated 20th May: "New Zealand butter, IUSs; New Zealand cheese, 03s to U4s; both markets slow." LONDON TALLOW MARKET. The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, has received the following advieo from its London office, under date 20th May :— "Tallow: There is a good demand, and prices have advanced Od to Is per cwt." Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house, under dale of the 20th May:—"Tallow: 040 casks of tallow offered, and practically all sold. Since our last report, prices are Od to Is per ewt higher for most descriptions except line mutton, which is par to 3d per cwt higher. First quality mutton was sold r.t public auction at 45s Cd per cwt, and beef at 15s Gd per cwt." The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Ajrency Company, Limited, has received the following cables-ram from its London houi-c, under date 20th Jla.v:—"Tallow: We ciuota present spot values for the following descriptions : Fine mutton. 40s 0d per cwt; good beef, 4.1s Sd per cwt; mi.\e.i, lls 0d per cwt. Market active." There was'only a small attendance at a meeting held 'last, evening at Carterton to consider reviving the Wairarapa Boxing Association. A letter was re ceived from the Wellington Centre setting out the procedure for reforming the association and pointing out that it was necessary to get the consent of Masterton for the transfer of the regis T tration to Carterton.
