SIR FRANCIS BELL'S REPLY.
It is rumoured in political circles today that the Hon. E. P. Lee, formerly Minister of Justice in the Massey Government, is to be appointed AttorneyGeneral and Leader of the Legislative Council. When the matter was mentioned to the Hon. Sir Francis Bell, Prime Minister, this afternoon he stated that he' did not intend to-appoint anyfresh Legislative Councillors during his term of office. . .
