"THE KINGDOM WITHIN."
An unusually strong programme commences at the Paramount and Arfccraft .theatres to-morrow, headed by the pictunsation of Kenneth B. Blake's wellknown story, "The Kingdom Within." It has one of the strongest casts ever assembled in a motion picture, including Russell Simpson, Pauline Starke, Gaston Glass, Ernest Torrence, and others. Produced right in the heart of the bi<* Redwood forests of California, the scenery is superb Old Caleb Deming, the village blacksmith prays that the expected S ij Wl£.. bring a boy into his house- !\? \i • , Pra>ter is answered, but the Almighty takes Caleb's wife. Twenty years pass; Amos, the son, has grown to manhood with a. "lifeless" aim. He falls in love with Emily, who is shunned by all on account of her brother serving a term in gaol. Krieg, the bad man, attacks Emily. Amos goes to her rescuo, and during the fight Amos's arm regains its vitality. Love and faith are justly rewarded. The supporting programme includes a new two-reel comedy, an interesting scenic, and the latest news reel.
