Flint tools of prehistoric origin have been found in Chalfont Park, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. About a dozen roughly shaped axes, and other instruments, together with some fragments, have been unearthed. It is thought that they must bo about 40,000 years old. Marks on some of the implements and on stones in the neighbourhood indicate that they aro relics of the Glacial period.
