MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Mr. S._L. P. Free,- S.M., presided at the Magistrate's Court to-day. A young man named Edward Arthur George James was sentenced to seven days' imprisonment for failing to comply -with, the terms oJ his probation. The term of accused's probation was expended by a.period of six months. , Christopher.Scanlon, a ship's fireman, was fined 10s for drunkenness, in default 24 hours' imprisonment,' and 10s for casting offensive matter on the footpath.
