Two" amateur ex-champion billiard players, 11. B Shailer (Australia), and H. Shanks (Wellington), played a match in the Albert Parlour last evening. The game, which was followed with interest by a large number of enthusiasts, resulted in an easy win for the visitor, whose scoring included two three-figure breaks. The best break by the local man was 62 The final scores were: Shailer 750, Shanks 364.
