Fergus Hume's well-known novel, "Mystery of a Hansom Cab," has been adapted to tho screen, and is nowshowing at tho Strand Theatre. It marks a new era in cinema work for the Commonwealth. In tho rolo of young Fitzgerald, Arthur Shirley is an ideal hero. Tho other attraction is "The City that Never. Sleeps," an adaptation from tho novel, "Mother O'Day." Tho other pictures aro. good.
