GENERAL ELECTION
Mr. E. Semple has been asked to contest tlie Oroua seat at the General Election in the interests of the Labour Party. The Hon. D. H. Guthrie represents Oroua afc present, but he will be retiring from politics this year. Mr. R. Darroch, headmaster of The Terrace School, has announced his intention of standing for Wellington East at the General Election.
