DEATHS FROM CANCER
Over a considerable period there has been a tendency for a steady increase in cancer mortality in all civilised counties. For example, in New Zealand for the last five years the deaths from cancer per 10,000 of the mean population were .-—1920, 8.63; 1921, 8.53: 1922, 8.52; 1923, 8.75; 1924, 9.59.
